Since 1957 Optimist International clubs have supported youth for their talents and contributions to their communities. Waterloo North Optimists have recognized over 250 youth for their outstanding achievements.
2023 Nominations
We are currently seeking nominations for youth (10 to 19 years) to be recognized for their achievements in the areas of:
- Leadership
- Notable involvement in school activities while maintaining good grades
- Generous support of neighbours, seniors and/or other youth
- Unselfish contributions to their community
Nominators are asked to complete a nomination form including contact information for the nominator, the nominee and their parent/guardian, parent permission for participation, and a paragraph which describes the recognition worthy accomplishments of the nominee.
Completed nomination forms should be emailed to waterloo.north.optimist.club@gmail.com by midnight Friday, May 19, 2023.
Selected nominees will receive a certificate and gift to thank them for their contributions to the betterment of our community.
